The speaker is delighted to encounter various ghosts--"how wonderful!"--and she collects the ghosts in a hamper. Then, the ghosts are laundered. And they become: tablecloths, drapes, and quilts. Exhausted from her work, the speaker realizes she needs to sleep. So: the final ghost becomes a bedsheet. The End. This looks easy--which suggests that it's the framework of a good picture-book. The small white cat--in a witch-dress--is an added bonus.
