Some notes on January:
*Certain people really seem to like "Underwater." It was shelved for January, perhaps because one of the co-stars ran into trouble with the law. But that doesn't make it a bad movie. I'm intrigued by the pairing of cinema demi-god Vincent Cassel with Kristen Stewart.
*Stephen King shares my interest in Hollywood's January. King Tweeted: "Sometimes, in the depths of winter, after the bloated movie-floats of December have moved on, interesting pictures creep into the multiplexes...." (Amen! And "bloated" is the right adjective. I'm looking at you, "Irishman"--!)
*We can now all consider "Disturbing the Peace"--zero percent on Rotten Tomatoes--and, really, how bad can it be? It's Guy Pearce. Guy Pearce--of L.A. CONFIDENTIAL and THE KING'S SPEECH! Battling outlaws! Sounds--possibly?--like a good time.....
